Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to read and use be-efficient.co. The site was built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page, and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operation, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast ratios.
- Text alternatives for images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms with visible labels, required-field indication and error messages linked to their fields.
- Responsive layouts that work at 320 px width and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Embedded videos load only the privacy-enhanced YouTube player, with titles for screen readers.
- No content that flashes, auto-plays sound or moves without user control; reduced-motion preferences are respected.
The site was tested with automated tools (axe-core) and manual keyboard checks in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and mobile.
Known limitations
- Some images in older articles have generic text alternatives; we are improving them.
- Embedded YouTube videos are provided by a third party, and their captions depend on the video owner.
